perspective
I write from a holistic stand-point. I write knowing that nothing is separate, and everything is not only connected, but is in fact the same continuous process. I see correlations everywhere because I recognise that nothing has any independent reality of its own. Even between physics and psychology for example, there are entangled events that inescapably dissolve the so-called “mind-body split”.
The sense of an individual self, a ‘me’ is an idea formulated by memories of past experience. Further, it is my stance that the individual self is in fact merely a function of the process we call memory – I go into in depth on this in the book Believing Unity. When the yin of experience is recalled, the yang of the experiencer is brought forth and thus a complete memory appears. Therefore there is no “rememberer” of experience, there is simply the resonance of a past experience occurring as a ‘fluctuation’ – if you like – of infinite reality.
My perspective, in a word, is unity.

story
For a long time I thought it would be better to be anonymous. It was well reasoned: I wasn’t writing for fame or credit, I was writing to help people and to share love and joy. Love doesn’t need fame or credit. The only trouble was, when I remained anonymous, I removed myself from the conversation. I had to hide, essentially, and I have nothing to hide and no reason to hide. Vulnerability and openness are integral to love and loving. The paradox was a difficult one to navigate for a while, but when I started giving talks I recognised that of course I’m going to tell others my name, the decision was already made. My name isn’t me of course, it’s a label, a sound or two, but it’s how you can get my attention, how you can find the conversation I’m a part of if you want to join in!
It’s been a long beautiful road to here, but I don’t like resting on achievements and accolades, accomplishments and all that pedestalisation business. Maybe my understanding of it will change with time but for now, although you may find odd stories about my experiences over on Medium from time to time, my focus is more on pointing to insights into the self and the nature of existence from where I stand. From there it’s very possible that you can show me something I haven’t yet seen. What I’m looking for, is truth.
